WHY diamonds are renowned for their exceptional quality and brilliance. WHY are unique in grading diamonds by the 6 C's; Cut, Colour, Clarity, Carat, Certification and Credence.
Cut: Only when a diamond is cut with true accuracy to precise proportions will it have the legendary "fire and sparkle". WHY only select diamonds of the finest cut.
Colour: The rarest white stones are those with no or imperceptable colour taints. WHY only use diamonds from D to H colour. Natural fancy colour diamonds, whether pink, blue or canary yellow are true collector's gems. We are proud to hold a selection of these in our stone vault.
Clarity: The finest diamonds are almost totally free from any internal marks or flaws, and should always be viewed through a 10X diamond grader's lens to judge their quality. WHY are proud to only use the very exacting standard of Flawless to VS2 diamonds, and no other.
Carat: One carat is a fifth of a gram, and is divided into 100 points. Quality of cut, colour and clarity are the highest priority, and only then the size.
Certification: WHY diamonds over .40ct are independently laboratory certificated to verify their exceptional quality.
Credence: There is more to a diamond than even a certificate details and the diamonds selected by WHY must meet these exacting additional standards.
